Conservation Psychology conference coming soon – enrol now!

Kia ora Colleagues,

I wanted to alert you to a workshop that will be held in Auckland (26-27 May) and Wellington (29-30 May) to launch the NZ Conservation Psychology Institute.

Conservation psychology explores the bonds between humans and the rest of nature, to protect and restore our living world.

The Institute is growing the field of conservation psychology in New Zealand by connecting researchers and practitioners, and deepening our shared understanding.

It’s supported by the Department of Conservation, Te Papa, Landcare Research, Victoria University of Wellington, Auckland University, and Wellington Zoo.

The content of the workshop are described here.

Contact Dr. Edith MacDonald (Edith.MacDonald@tepapa.govt.nz, Practice Leader Visitor Learning/Audience Advocacy) at Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa  for further information and visit the website to register.
