Conservation strategy – Growing empathy

empathy handsSocial psychologists, and the rest of us intuitively, have long understood that empathy is a precursor to behaviour change. But how might growing empathy be harnessed to improve conservation outcomes too.

In this article, researcher established the power of empathy to change environmental outcomes. More than ever, this article confirms, yet again, that achieving better environmental futures depends more than anything else on human relationships  and networks. Conservation is a social science.
